Hace unas semanas, durante una extremadamente fría tarde de Invierno, me encontraba acostado en el sillón de mi sala de estar leyendo una edicion reciente del fanzine Maximum Rock N Roll y de pronto me sentí inspirado a darle una escuchada a un compilatorio de la banda británica Crass llamado “Best Before 1984”. No lo escuchaba desde hace varios años y no se que fue lo que me inspiro a hacerlo ya que por lo general Crass no es exactamente una banda que escuche con mucha regularidad. Puse el álbum en el tocadiscos y me volví a recostar para continuar leyendo. En unos pocos segundos comienza a sonar la primera canción que abre el disco: “Do They Owe us a Living?”. Durante el primer verso y coro, Steve Ignorant (voz) grita:
“Fuck the politically minded, here’s something I want to say,
About the state of nation, the way it treats us today.
At school they give you shit, drop you in the pit,
